So I get a call from my manager at the time saying “I need some hot ‘Lil Jon’ish beats for this new girl Ciara.” I was like “Who the fuck is Ciara? Give my beats out to someone famous” (LOL) This was just before Ciara became big. I sent him “Like That” and he called me back a week later saying “Ciara LOVED it and we will record it ASAP”. Then he disappears 3 days later and I literally never heard from him since…wonderful.
